Otonum supports points, cashback, or both, depending on tenant configuration.

Program settings define earning logic, thresholds, and caps.

Points Model

Points are accumulated from eligible events and converted to redeemable value through vouchers.

Typical strengths:

• Encourages repeat behavior over time
• Supports milestone-style engagement mechanics
• Works well with tier and bonus campaign patterns

Cashback Model

Cashback credits a percentage of eligible spend back to the member wallet.

Typical strengths:

• Easy member comprehension
• Immediate perceived value
• Strong fit for high-frequency purchase contexts

Mixed Programs

When both models are enabled, balances and thresholds are tracked according to configured rules.
